TOEFL Exercise

10. NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center ______ control center for the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo space flight.
a. It was at the
b. It was the
c. was the (*)
d. the

*i choose c because in this sentence we miss the verb, so that to conplete this sentence we must find the verb in the answer. Why I don't choose B, because in B we can see another subject, and when we choose B it will be double subject. So that, I choose C because we just need the verb that is was.
