7.6 SR earthquake hit Padang on 30 September 2009, most of the people killed in that day. The house, the built, and the street are broken because of the shake from the earthquake. Many volunteers spend their time to help the people in Padang, one of the volunteer is incorporate with IBU foundation. Many actresses join in this foundation, like Cathy Sharon, Aming, Baim Wong, and else, they become participant to make people in Padang felt happy because many people in Indonesia still care about them. IBU foundation become philantrophist who devotes their time, money, and effort to helping others especially in Padang which have been strucked down from earthquake.
Philanthropist help the people from afflicted condition, they lost their house, their asset, even the most important is their family. Many people who saved from earthquake severe injury and need help for advanced. IBU foundation sending medical team from Jakarta and Bandung for conducting outreach mobile clinic in Padang, and they will established Basecamp in Padang and conduct assessment necessary response to help the victims of earthquake. IBU plans for making emergency shelter and non food items distributions, medical outreach clinics during emergency response with, and psychosocial programs for trauma relief especially for mother and children.
